iPad & Pencil Magnetic Mount & DXF
These are magnetic mounts I made for the 13" iPad Pro and iPad mini(6/7th gen).
List of things you will need:
Magnets used on both iPad Models: https://amzn.to/4hdq0CX
Krazy Glue to glue the magnets down: https://amzn.to/3CRAPeZ
Command Strips for wall mounting: https://amzn.to/4gMAOIu
Using the links gives me a 2-4% commission. Using the links is an easy way to support things like this at no additional cost to you since you needed the supplies for the model anyways. I would like to be able to do more things like this but it does take time to make these type of things and if it is unsustainable then I would simply have to stop. I am really grateful to receive support in any way possible whether you decide to use the links or just by simply watching the videos.
Instructions:
Print the version you want to use(0.2mm)
Krazy Glue the separate pieces together if required
Line up the print to your iPad and place the magnets on some of the slots to see which +/- the magnets need to be facing.
If you are using the Direct Magnet print, I would recommend lining the print up to a magnetic folio so it would be easier.
Once you have determined the direction the magnets are facing, reference the picture to make sure everything is correct.
I would consider placing a single cluster of magnets, taping them down and seeing if it properly connects to the iPad before permanently glueing them down.
Once you are finished placing the magnets in the proper +/- direction and made sure it is properly attaching to your iPad, adhere it to wherever you want with the Command Strips.
If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment on the video.
I greatly appreciate your support and doing so allows me to continue having fun and making these types of obscure things.
Have Fun! :)
